Cyberbullying, sexual harassment, which includes physical and verbal bullying, are only a few of the torments that a victim of bullying can experience. Bullying is a problem every day teens face. There are different forms of bullying that exist. Just think about what may be going through the victim or the bully's head.
Some people don't know why bullies bully, in fact most people think it's for power, but that is only one possibility. There are many other reasons why bullies target a victim. For example, a few people crave putting fear into other people for fun. Bullies try to make the victim feel like they are worth nothing and that they don't belong. Bullies sometimes like it when people are scared in their presence, they sometimes form cliques. The most common reason why they bully is that there parents don't care what their child says or does. There can be good things about being a bully but also consequences come with it to. They are more prone to dropout of college, get depression, and are more likely to get caught up into drugs. Statistics say that usually about when they turn thirty, 60% of those people might have a criminal conviction and are more likely to carry a weapon. Along with depression, comes anxiety and agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is the fear of crowds, and places where there is a lot of people. As bullies grow up they can have problems with keeping jobs, and relationships. Yet if you have bullied before, all, some, or even none of these facts could become positive in your life. Being the bully, it can go down in two ways, you will either be treated like royalty or everyone will ignore you. Bullying changes you, sometimes people are not themselves after their experience.
