There are 3 people involved in the bullying, the victim which is the person who is being bullied and the actual bully who is causing the abuse and the last person involved is they bystander is a person who sees the bullying happening. Lots of times bullying makes the victim feel bad about themselves and they start to believe the things the bully is saying about them are true. Most of the time the bully is just looking for attention and they want to be noticed. They want to make themselves seem more important. Some bullies may even come from bad families and that’s what makes them act the way... ... middle of paper ... ...ey are not concentrated and are afraid what the bully will do or say to them.
I just want to know why the bullies do the things they do. They don't even care how the victim feels, all they care about is themselves and how they can make their victims feel even worse. I wonder if they knew how much pain and suffering they put on other people, if other people did the same to them would they change they way they treat people? I chose this topic because I really belive that bullying is one of the biggest issues in today’s world. I just want the bullies to know how much pain they put people through, and then maybe they will realize that is not a good thing.
All types of bullying are dangerous to the victim. The victim starts to believe the words that come out of the bullies mouth. The victim gets down on their self and turns to drugs or other things to make them feel better. People bully for different reasons. There are cultural causes of bullying.
Bullying, in its many forms, is becoming an extremely hazardous problem that many individuals endure. Bullies torment others because they themselves have insecurities, have been bullied themselves, or have a mental illness that brings out the worst in them. Nevertheless, bullying can physically and emotionally destroy the victim, whether it is by physical abuse, cyber bullying, or verbal abuse. Nowadays, physical bullying is becoming a very serious and detrimental problem. Not only does physical bullying scar the person emotionally, but it can also scar them physically.
Bullying is undesirable, antagonistic manner among school going children that involves a real alleged power discrepancy. The power imbalance comes about because the bullies uses their physical strength, their power, embarrassing information, obnoxious language, or their reputation to control or maltreat other kids. The bullies are prone to recap the behavior over time. The act for bullying is agonizing because those bullied are long affected by the act and may live in fear in their life. Issues have arisen whether the bully should receive a special form of punishment at a particular age because just like the other offenses bullying should be punishable.
Lack of empathy might be the consequence of misunderstanding. When people who are called bullies misunderstand their peers because of lack of empathy, they become aggressive since they cannot notice what the fact is. Due to their aggressiveness, they start to hurt others either verbal or physical that actually means they just start bullying. As an example, a student P1-03-B008(as cited in Ching-Tsai Wong, Ying-Yao Cheng & Li-Ming Chen (2013) Multiple perspectives on the targets and causes of school bullying, Educational Psychology in Practice, p.9) says ‘' All of us do not understand him and think he's a freak. We started it off as a joke, and he did not really object, but we gradually grew more and more intense, and it turned into bullying him.''.

Bullying Is Not Just Part of Growing Up Bullying is a prevalent experience that has serious consequences on children and adolescents worldwide (Borowsky, Taliaferro, and McMorris, 2013). Researchers Burgess, Garbarino, and Carlson (2006), found that many parents believed that bullying was just simply a part of growing up; however, it’s more than that and these parents are not willing to face reality and intervene due to their own personal reasons. The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development’s Building Respectful and Safe Schools (2010) recognize four types of bullying: physical bullying, verbal bullying, hidden bullying and cyber bullying. (National Centre Against Bullying, 2010) Psychologists generally define bullying as a frequent physical or verbal abuse that implies power difference deliberately causing another person to suffer. (BAZELON, 2013). The findings of researches conducted about violence send alarming signals about the issue of bullying.
