There is various process to consider in making a strategic management. Strategic management is often mean to change, which is very difficult and require a lot of effort and time, one of the most important ways in which facilitated is to make the employees accept this change through the mission and vision. It is not only for the large organizations also to all types of organizations such as small and medium, private, public, profit or non-profit organizations. It is one inspirational, memorable and clear sentence. Vision statement motivate employees to do more and usually leads to higher performance. It is not only the financial reward that motivate employees so it is important to use vision statement as additional way to increase their motivation.

The main intent of this paper was to clarify the difference between vision and mission statements.
