From observing social media account in class, I have seen lots of business in the fast food industry do a good job of using social media. Nearly a majority of fast food business uses some sort of social media platforms to get their brand out to get consumers to be aware of the tastiness they are missing. Aside from the delicious foods, many of the social media accounts do a great job of adding humor and more humanistic connection among people on social media.
The one fast food restaurant that has always captured my eyes is Taco Bell. Taco Bell is a place where my stomach and heart is always available. The tweets they have are written to make more of a connection among more people. The most current retweeted comment is a photo of someone who bought nearly $400 dollars’ worth of Taco Bell with the caption of “Get On Christine Level.” It was a nice move to acknowledge her for achieve by buying nearly 300 items at the restaurant. Aside from that, Taco Bell on Twitter is simple and used for people to see the achievements of consumers/fans. Comparing their Twitter and Facebook, Facebook is much more relaxed, because of the visible comments people are able to see on their page. They do great of responding to people, but lack the ability to make the same connection as Twitter. There is a good amount of connection, but it is seen as poor only because of how strong their Twitter account is. Likes and retweets on Facebook and Twitter has a common trend, which is many more viewers see Taco Bell’s two accounts as a comedy site, because of the entertainment they have on both sites. Whereas their Instagram account is just a photo area for great communication to viewers for holidays and big events. Their Instagram is different from the Twitter because the quality of information is being given is very different, which plays a good role and a bad role at the same
