Registered Nurse Essay

Why did I want to become a registered nurse? Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew that I would become a nurse one day. I knew that becoming a registered nurse was going to be a lot of work, but I knew I could do it with the right kind of mindset. I always liked the idea that I could help someone in his/her time of need. Even though I liked the idea of becoming a registered nurse, I knew that it was going to be difficult. I knew that it was going to be a lot of hard work, and that it was not always going to be easy. I knew that I would have to choose a good school with an excellent nursing program because of all the tests that I would have to pass. I want to make sure that becoming a registered nurse will be the right occupation for me, so therefore I need to make sure that I know all of the educational requirements, the duties, and all of the important information I need to know about registered nurses.

There are a lot of educational requirements to become a registered nurse. Students have to take classes in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry, and nutrition. The Bachelor of Science degree in nursing programs usually takes about four years to complete. The Diploma and Associate degree in nursing programs take about 2 to 3 years to complete. I know that I am a compassionate person, and I know that I can become a registered nurse one day. I know that it requires a lot of education and requirements, but I know I can do it.
