Operation management refers to the complex set of management activities involved in planning, organizing, controlling and supervising the operation of a company so as to make the necessary improvement for higher profitability (Stoner, Freeman & Gilbert, 1996). In other words, operation management is the business function that involves systematic design, direction and control of processes that transform input into product and services for internal and customer for external. Thus, operation management is very important for the manager as it not only helps to increase the productivity of an organization improving the financial health but also helps to meet the competitive priorities of the customers.

Process: The processes involved in the hotel are selection of suitable location which reaches to the maximum customers, then deciding the kinds of facilities that the hotel will be willing to provide like swimming pool, restaurant, kinds of rooms like suits, normal room, spa, and so on. Then, going for the hiring of the employees and providing training to them and also forming a good management team.
