I have shown compassion through my care. I have worked with many residents that not only needed my help physically, but also emotionally. I believe that physical touch can go a long way in helping anyone feel more at ease. During the last few weeks of my grandmother’s life, I was by her side helping her as much as I possibly could to make sure she was comfortable. The quality of life is one of the most important things to maintain, which is always one of my top priorities when caring for others. You need compassion to help fulfill the quality of life. H. I have demonstrated leadership all throughout high school and at my first year here at ESU. In high school, I was a cheer captain and co-captain my sophomore through senior year and I was a member of the National Honor Society where I served as Secretary.
