Dear Professor Odreman,

I have a keen interest in the Post-Partum Consolidation placement. I am writing this letter to express my interest in the position. I have been interested in post partum for some time now. Part of my reasoning for coming into the practical nursing program at Niagara College was for me to be able to gain more knowledge in the field and have my passion for this department develop into a firm knowledge that this is somewhere I want to start my career as a Registered Practical Nurse. I believe that a strong start at the beginning of life is an invaluable gift and I have a desire to help families have the best possible start.

This will be my final clinical placement with Niagara College and it would be an honor to be able to be the successor of this placement. I have aspired to this long-term goal from the start. As I have worked through the program, I have gained knowledge and experience clinically and in the classroom, and not a minute of the program has gone by where my goal to be in the Post- Partum unit has wavered.
