Introduction
In the modern world, the development of the technology and globalisation has improved the way of tackling crises. Also, it has led to make the world more sensitive and interconnected considering local disasters. (Helbing, D. 2011). The impact of US mortgages and the following collapse of several financial institutions in 2007-2008 have been seen as the worst financial crisis in the recent years. (Slaying the Dragon of Debt, 2010). It put leaderships in real challenges to face the financial crisis and also it showed us different leadership styles. (Demiroz, F. Kapucu, N. 2012).

It has an influence on individual and groups to achieve shared targets. Leader’s ability can increase the performance of organisations or team by improving the processes to avoid the determination of performance. The most important target in many researches about leadership has been to explain that leader influence on a group and work or organisation from their performance. (Yukl, G2012). According to Michael (2010), as cited in (Ojokuku, et al 2012) it has a major influence on the activities of organisations and their success. In addition, value, culture and employee motivation can be determined by the leaders. Making strategies of institutions are the main target for the leaders, including their execution and effectiveness. Leaders are not restricted to management, the can be detected at any level of an institution. It can be seen that effective leaders combined with critical and active decision making are probably the most crucial aspects of crisis- time management. Also, leadership styles have an effect on organisational performance. (Demiroz, F. et al 2012). An effective leader should adopt more global leadership style to be effective in international scale of the crisis. Using employees decision making as a part of the solution are an essential part of effective leadership because the employees can be valuable assets in time of the crisis. It is important for modern- time leader to consider how to effectively communicate with employees, especially during a time of crisis.
