Impact of WWII on Jews World War II impacted a lot of people after it came and went. One group of people that it impacted was the Jews. The Jews were forced to live in concentration camps as the war was being fought, they were painfully dehumanised while living in them. Jews were killed and punished just for believing in a certain religion. After the war was over they had to fix their lives both mentally, physically, and economically. Overall, World War II Impacted the Jews by forcing them to rebuild, regain their cultural heritage, and fix their economic status.
The Germans tore down all the homes and places that the Jews lived, forcing them to rebuild after World War II. 1943 marked the new beginning for the Jews that survived the concentration camps and came out of them willing to start over. At this time the Germans destroyed the concentration camps. This meant that the war was over, and Jews could go back to living in a house with their families. The Jews finally had a chance to regain and start a normal way of life. They were no longer living in concentration camps, but now living in places that they built. …show more content…

They were forced to break some of their religious beliefs while they were in the concentration camps. All food, housing, and way of cleaning was not what the Jews were accustomed to, it was forced upon them by the Germans. Even though it was not normal for them, it was the only food that they were given during this time period. They were given pork and other foods that were not part of their religious beliefs and broke their diet. In most of the concentration camps, a normal meal consisted of, a small piece of bread and small piece of sausage.
