Can you imagine being a woman and working just as hard as men, but get paid $10,000 less than men. That would be completely unfair and would cause women to uprise in the work field. Men and women work equally as hard as each other, but people make blank and ignorant accusations that men work harder than women so they should get payed more. If women put firm the same effort as men working shouldn’t they get paid equally? I believe that America should change the way payment works. Men and women should be paid equally if they have the same amount of experience, same degree, and their career.
One important reason women should be paid equally is if they have the same experience that a man does. What is the point of experience in a career if you aren’t going to pay them more? Experience is important in a career because it shows how efficient you are going to be and the effort you are going to put to get things done. With experience it makes the person be more comfortable in the field and make the person be efficient in their work. Having the same amount of experience deserves equal pay for both genders. If a woman can do just as good as a job as a man or better then they deserve to get paid equally if not more. But that is not how it works. Women are viewed as under men therefore they paid less than men do. Both men and women acquire the same degrees for the same profession they are going to work in. Men and women both work equally as hard in college, and also take the same classes to get to the same field. For example, a woman works in the medical field and only receives a lifetime earnings of $2,759,000 and a man works in the same field and has the same degree and gets paid $3,488,000.
