In life it is important to set strategic and obtainable goals in order to become a better you. With setting positive goals we become self-motivated to achieve them when we think about what it will feel like to reach the finish line. It’s important to push yourself to keep these goals at for fore front of your mind each new day. Within this essay I will list the four main goals I have set for myself, how I am going to achieve them, and why that are important to me.
My first short term goal is to complete my prerequisites at The College of Western Idaho within the next two years while maintain all A’s and B’s in my classes. This is particularly important because the radiology program at Boise State University is very competitive and only the top preforming students are accepted. I am going to turn this goal into a reality by going to class, setting up a study area away from any distractions and telling those closest to me that I am going to make it happen to have them help hold me accountable. …show more content…

I want to complete the radiology program at Boise State University and achieve my Bachelor degree within the next five years. I need to do this not only to start my career but also to obtain my life long goal. I know that in order to complete this goal I need to designate my time wisely, develop good studying skills, and keep school my main priority in my day to day life. My next goal is to pay off most of my student loans and buy my dream car within 4 years after I finish college. I want to purchase a Jeep Rubicon with all the bells and whistles! By setting this goal for myself I am also holding myself to an important goal of first paying off the majority of my student loans. This way I am holding myself accountable to my financial obligations first before buying my dream car. I will obtain this goal by setting and following a budget and working as much as
