...because that is a big bonus. I also know a lot about being a Police Officer because I have a couple of Officers in my family and i talk to them about how they got started and what it is like to be out every day protecting peoples lives and so on, and I also know a lot of information because i have watched the show Cops a lot growing up and they have some good information on what it is like to be a Police Officer. After High School I plan on attending at Northampton Community College for two years to study a degree in Criminal Law to get started on my future on becoming a Police Officer at whatever town or city i can get accepted to. I think I have a pretty good shot at making as a Police Officer because I am willing to work hard everyday to give myself an advantage over all the other trainees at the Police Academy. Thank you for taking the time to read my essay.
Unlike my personal goals, and educational goals, these goals are not intended to serve me, but instead serve others around me. I dream of one day making a difference as I teach the young children in my class. I wish to someday plant a desire to go out and help make the world a better place. I hope that one day I am able to make each of my students feel wanted and needed in this world, as well as teach them as much as I can. Goals that make a difference are not intended for self glory or succession later on, but instead to encourage future generations to take a stand for what is right and be a light to the
The healthcare field and all professions within is one of the fastest and most aggressively growing career path. Just as people will always need someone to fix anything they will also always need doctor medical staff. The doctors, nurses, and medical assistants are on the front lines interacting with and caring for and healing the patients that are in such dire need for their help but behind the scenes sitting at a desk shifting and sorting through mounds of paperwork or sitting through endless boring board meetings with suits who have no idea how patient care really works that’s where I want to be this is the nerd that I am. I will gladly take mounds and mounds of paperwork and
Getting a job is probably the most worrisome matter for college seniors. Nowadays most students deem college education as an investment that can eventually bring profits in the long run in terms of a financially successful career. To this end, a great number of students major in the most lucrative majors, which are not their actual interests. Luckily, I am able to dive into the field I love in college, and it blends with my career goal perfectly. I like teaching and conducting research, so I hope to become a psychology professor at a research university some day.
My name is Katradron Spann, I am a single parent of four children and I attend Gateway technical College. I am applying for this foundation's scholarship to complete my studies in Nursing. I want to complete an associate's degree in Nursing and then transfer to a four-year college or university. My educational goals consist of acquiring a bachelor's degree in Nursing. My personal experiences, academic, and work have lead me to these career goal's however, I feel that if I do not complete my college degree I could never have the opportunity to achieve my long term career goals. I've decided to obtain my career as a Nurse because my passion has always been helping, healing, and assisting others. Therefore, I think that pursuing such a career will provide me the opportunity to help with improving the
Goals play a very essential role in the organization of responsibilities and how my mind works. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in criminal justice with a concentration in Trauma Studies. Setting goals for my major is what keeps me focused and motivated in achieving it. My goals are to acquire a degree in criminal justice that challenges me to work harder and measure the skills and obstacles that come with it. Passionate, determined, and understanding is what I hope to gain from following my goals and aspirations in this field. My aspirations as a criminal justice major is to bring change, even the slightest change that could help an individual in life. A change in the way the law is viewed or enforced, a change in the sentencing of criminals.
I started my college career without a clear objective. In my youth once things became hard I stopped preforming and moved quickly on to another goal. I was not focused and felt I lacked the dedication needed in order to successfully preform in academic life. I was able to get by and graduate but my GPA suffered.
In the first quarter, my goals were mostly to just pass my classes with at least a B and since I started school a little late, I wanted to catch up with my work and bring up my grades because I was behind and failing most of my classes during the first few weeks. I also wanted to try and not get in trouble in my classes as much and I did not want to get detention. I met my first goal of bringing up my grades in all my classes from failing to passing and I am passing all of my classes with a B and above. I did not really meet my second goal of not getting in any kind of trouble because I got detention during the first quarter. I think some challenges for this new quarter is keeping track of my work and homework and keeping my grades up. Another
As I am preparing for a new chapter in my life, I have put a lot thought in about what I want out of life and what to look forward to as I get older. In order for one to achieve anything, they need to set goals to reach for. I have a handful of goals for my future, short term and long term, that I will actively work towards in my college years and beyond. In my time at UW Eau Claire, I plan to be involved and engaged in student activities on campus. Being active will help me meet new people, build a better resume, and have fun at college. At UWEC, I would like to get involved in anything musical, along with various clubs and Greek life. Similarly, another goal of mine is to have a job on campus. Having a job will not only help me make some
Some of the most significant reasons for me wanting to be an officer are having a stable career in a field where I can learn skills that I can use in the civilian world

My plan in life is to become a Police Officer. Not only would that give me the opportunity to help other people but becoming a Police Officer also gives me the opportunity to follow in my Uncles footsteps and do something that I have wanted to do my whole life. I have always wanted to make a difference in the world, and this gives me the chance. Performing justice the right way and making sure that the laws of the government are obeyed is the job that I want to pursue. Being a Police Officer is a challenging job but also very rewarding. There would be a number of skills I would need to learn, not to mention that every day on the job would be a learning experience itself. Every single day that I would go to work, I would potentially be saving someone’s life. Stopping a speeder, arresting a criminal, preventing harmful attempts, they are things that would save someone’s life. Even if my actions were not as simple as that, for example, if I were to witness an accident or arrive onto the scene of one, just being there gives me the opportunity to take preventative measures. When I become a Police Officer, it woul...
