Choosing the right career path and being successful at times can be difficult because you don't know what to expect beside what people say. To me success means achieving an important goal you opposed to yourself that will make a change in your life. We all want to be successful in life at one point but dedicating yourself to achieving your set goal can be hard for some of us. I have choose to pursue my career in nursing. Becoming a Nurse is a very challenging career field but it has always been my dream.I have always felt compassionate toward caring for people in need, saving people life, bringing cheer and joy to patient while they are sick, and most importantly comforting patient in need etc.Not to mention choosing your career in nursing …show more content…

Benefits are a plus in the nursing field, yes they work long 12 hours shifts for 4 days in a row but yet have consecutive days off in a hospital setting. In addition, mostly all facilities provide good benefits like 401k plans, health coverage, yearly salary increases, etc. Finally your mental stimulation changes as you grow in the field because caring for other is something the nursing field is going to require you to do that is something very important to me because it something that touches my heart creating and impact in my life because I place my self in the patient shoes. I like the feeling of knowing I am helping others, cheering patient up giving them joy when they are down or sad because of their pain or medical conditions, comforting all my patient so they feel as I am there hero, knowing I am saving people life that need my help daily leads to my ideal of success.
