The Effects Of Bullying In 2009, a parent of three faced her worst nightmare. Masika Bermudez, she walked into find her 11 year old son Jaheem Herrera, hanging by a belt. Bullying is an unacceptable, and has a large impact on many people. Sadly bullying affects children, young adults, and the elderly being harassed. Grow adults and other children need to understand bullying is unmeaningfull and can lead to depression and sometimes even death. Just think would you like to be bullied for what you do in your daily life. The young and middle age bully to feel better about themselves. The young who do bully tend to think the older you are the better you're able to block these thing. This may pertain to some people but over all this is an untrue statement. Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you can’t be bullied. In the article “The school bus bully video shows the problem with schools, not parents” by Laura Shaw, states “Where did these children’s lack of respect and empathy for Klein, a 68 year-old grandmother of eight”. Kids have no mercy for who you are or how old you are. A 68 year-old grandmother can be just as fragiled souled as a 12 year-old Middle School boy.
