Consisting of over 66 books, the Bible contains in its pages the Holy word of God. The Bible is full of history; wisdom; prophecy, and reveals the meaning of life and the “responsibility of human beings to their Creator” (Christian Answers, n.d.). The Bible is the foundation whereby Christians find principles such as, goodness; justice, and immorality. The Holy Bible, consisting of the four elements that comprise the magnificent Christian narrative, “provide a framework by which the Christian worldview understands the concepts of health and disease” (GCU, 2015), thus bestowing comfort and hope in times of illness and suffering. The defiance of Adam and Eve against God’s decree, led to the breakdown of Shalom. The Fall brought about lasting implications to creation, causing sin, suffering, disease and death to exist. And, most significantly, giving rise to the destruction of our relationship with God. Through sin, man would die a physical and spiritual death. Throughout the Old and New Testaments in the Bible, the history of man’s ongoing conflict is written. In these writings is also God’s plan for human redemption. The Bible outlines the “life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ” (GCU, 2015). The ultimate sacrifice was Jesus’s death on the cross by which He took away the sins of the world and united humanity back with God. It is through God’s grace, and our faith, that we shall have eternal life (GCU, 2015) “This is the proof of love, that he laid down his life for us, and we too ought to lay down our lives for our brothers” (1 John 3:16, NJB). Biblically speaking, the term restoration means “to receive back more than has been lost to the point where the final state is greater than the original condition” (Reference, 2016). Although the conclusion of the Christian Biblical Narrative is yet to be fully known, God’s final judgment and his promise for eternal life will restore creation to order and
