We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and taking what used to be multiple purchases of software into one operation system. That can increase many aspects of the important sectors within the restaurant industry. I.e. decrease employee-training time, increase outputs, real-time record keeping ‘including inventory’, and more.

It is evident that the information system used by Kahuna Cleaning Supply is rather slow and inefficient. The director of sales reports that the business lost a big order recently to the competitor who was able to provide the potential client with timely estimates online. In addition, the system is marred with a lot of errors while making orders and requisitions. The customers are not connected with an online interface and this makes it difficult for the company to compete favorably on the information front. The manual system is therefore obsolete, slow and unprofitable to the company. Therefore, in order to leverage their effectiveness and competitive edge, management seeks do develop a system that incorporates all the functions in a customer friendly interface. In this regard, a study will be undertaken on the current operat...
Asemi observe that Management Information System (MIS) is one of the information systems that is computer based. Besides, Asemi defines MIS as “an organizational method of providing past, present and project information related to internal operations and external intelligences. It supports the planning, control and operation functions of an organization by furnishing uniform information in the proper time frame to assist the decision makers,” (2011). The aim of MIS is to satisfy the general information need of the entire manager in an organization. Before the advent of computers, the process of decision-making was one that was full of built-in advantages and ad hoc methods. Computers technologies have changed the landscape of the decision-making process completely by making the process less demanding and easy to undertake. The reason for this situation is that information technology has made access to information more automated, efficient, effective, timely, and less ambiguous. Consequently, the ordinary t...

Moore, and Total Wine I have analyzed, planned, and measured the critical importance of both forms of information. I developed the competencies, skills, and abilities associated with knowledge, understanding, and application skills while working for C.V.S and Lowe's. The customer service report , employee engagement survey, P&L report, and margins report produced qualitative and quantitative information; these were facilitated to the stores on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. The customer service report and employee engagement survey had both forms of information, as they scored specific criteria and allowed personal responses. The P&L and margin report only gave structured information on the numbers, which is solely quantitative information. The difference between the two forms of information is that qualitative is unstructured, non-numerical form, and observed data that can not be measured; quantitative information can be measured, is structured, and can be interpreted easier. On a monthly basis, I would review the customer service report and take the following actions:

Many people dine at restaurants’ and hotels’ but are unaware of the system utilized within the kitchen. They simply go to enjoy the food, unaware of how it is prepared. Interestingly, the kitchen is run by a Kitchen Brigade system (Brigade de Cuisine) which is a hierarchy system invented by Georges Auguste Escoffier to ease and simply the operations of a kitchen. There are two types of kitchen brigade which are the classic kitchen brigade and the modern kitchen brigade. This report aims to explain each of the system, the individuals involved in it and the responsibilities of each person.
