Introduction After moderate research, it has been concluded that there are three essential skills that managers need. These skills are technical skills, conceptual skills, and human skills. These range of skills are required for a manager’s job. Dramatically, these skills will change as a person is promoted to management. At a certain degree of each of these skills are required of different levels in the organization could vary. Basically, some or all of these skills must be possess by all managers in each of these important areas in order to effectively perform. Now let’s briefly discuss what these three skills are about and how they relate to the organization. Conceptual skills is the ability to cognitively see the organization as a whole system as well as the relationships among its parts. By knowing where one’s team fits into the organization as a whole, conceptual skills also directs how the organization fits into the communities, the industry as well as the social environment and the broad business. Basically conceptual skills is the ability for one to strategically think, take the long-term broadview, evaluate, identify, and being able to solve complex problems. My human skills score was 24 and my technical skills score was 11. This exercise shows that my strengths lines up with conceptual skills and human skills. As stated earlier in this analysis shows that because of my two strengths in human and conceptual skills I should be at the middle managers level. But looking at my technical skills, it shows my weakness.
