Exercise has become a very important part of women’s daily life, even when pregnant, most women like to train, to keep their blood flowing, but there are some safety concerns with certain exercises, due to some physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. To ensure a good healthy pregnancy, these considerations should help. As there is an increase pregnant women’s endocrine system, and blood sugar levels, so there are a few guidelines to help pregnant women out.

There are many changes that occur starting from musculoskeletal, maternal and fetal temperature, hemodynamic, oxygen, high blood pressure, diabetes, energy demands, impact of pregnancy on the performance during exercise , labour and outcome of pregnancy, the normal adaptations that take place during pregnancy within women so they can provide lodging in the embryo or fetus. These physiological changes are absolutely normal, and also include the cardiovascular, metabolic, renal and respiratory changes that become very important in the event of complications. The body has to adapt its physiological and homeostatic mechanisms in pregnancy to provide properly and ensure safety for the fetus.

A woman is the solitary provider of nourishment for the embryo and the fetus, and so her plasma and blood volume slowly increase during the course of the pregnancy to adapt to the changes. The increase in plasma volume is due to increase in aldosterone. It also results in an increase in, stroke volume, and cardiac output go up by about 50%, mostly during the first trimester.

The main objective is to allow the pregnant patient to get the best result and rewards from exercise for general well-being. While making sure that there is no negative effects occur in the mother or the developing fetus.
