He mentions that the “question is no longer whether global warming exists” but instead questions how we are going to deal with it (par. 9). As a result, Scranton ignores the readers that might not believe in global warming; he does not recognize this small audience in his article, and as a consequence, readers might find Scranton to be slightly arrogant. According to multiple scientists, humans are the ones responsible for the alarming change in the Earth’s atmospheric temperature. Theses scientists also fear that human activity will have long consequential problems for the world. Bill Nye, the science guy, is one of those scientists that believes humans are at fault for the increased temperature of the Earth. On the other side of the argument lie a numerous amount of skeptics who are not convinced that human activity is the cause of global warming. Marc Morano is one of those skeptics that opposes the concept of man made global warming. He is the publisher of “ClimateDepot.com” in which he explains why he believes that humans are not at fault. Just as we think our atmosphere might be getting better we realize that its getting worse due to global warming and we just happen to realize it now. There are many different reasons to why and how global warming is happening, but the main reason of global warming is the Greenhouse effect. Greenhouse effect is when the atmosphere of the Earth traps some of the heat coming from the sun. This happens due to burning fuels, cutting trees, and the concentration of heat on the Earth. There are many other causes to global warming such as air pollution, Melting of the Glaciers, Human Activities and even Industrial Advancement that have affected climate change.
