After reflecting on the weekly appointment sheet and comparing it to my last couple of weeks, I found that most things stayed constant, but their are some differences. My work schedule and class times are the same, but my actual plans for study time are not. I planned to study every day after the school day, but I did not stick to it fully. Additionally, the time I set aside for the weekends for reflection on course materials became more sporadic. Especially with the recent holiday, I did not study as much time as I should have. Nonetheless, that does not mean I can not improve. I tend to get not so much overwhelmed, but I unknowingly distract myself with other activities. Looking at these actions reassures my priorities and also plays a key role in accountability. Consequently, when it comes to preparing a semester and graduation plan, I need to make goals that are challenging, but realistic. I will create these plans with an open and optimistic mindset. Also, since I am aware of how easy it is to drift off, I can pay closer attentions to the plans I create. For a semester plan, I can focus on present goals and occurrences, and what distractions may come about, so the details are manageable and beneficial. I need to make choices that directly correlate to my preferred major. All in all, it is significant that I am aware of potential changes in my schedule, so that I am prepared to take proper actions. I know now that even though I might think I am going parallel with my schedule, I very well might be drifting off the path.
