Ordinary people do not represent a hero. Someone that has a special place in a person’s heart counts as a hero. When a person hears the word, “Hero,” somebody that has impacted the life of a person in some way or another comes to mind. An African American by the name of Rosa Parks has that special effect on many people. Rosa Parks stood up for separation on December 1, 1955, when she did not give up her seat on a city bus. Rosa believed everyone had the right to sit where they wanted on the bus, and Americans do not have more rights than African Americans. Not everyone has just one hero, Saint Anne has that special place in others hearts as well. Saint Anne gave birth to Mary, who then gave birth to Jesus. Hero’s care for every single person that looks up to them, and those who hate on them, they feel sorry for, and hope that they realize that what they say and do will not get them anywhere in life. The day after December 1, 1955, every single African American gained the knowledge of civil rights that they all have. Willie Barrow attends every civil rights movement, and an old friend of Rosa Parks. Willie Barrow saw the accomplishment in Rosa Parks eyes on the day after a rally, and realized what an effect Rosa has made for civil rights. Rosa’s accomplishments showed others that when something small happens in life, just take the wheel and drive till the very end. Only vigorous things can come out of the little thing that started the whole journey. Saint Anne showed her leadership in the whole town of Bethlehem when she allowed her only grandson to leave not knowing whether he would come back or not. The people in Bethlehem loved Jesus and they became nervous when Jesus left. Saint Anne gathered after church every Sunday with people of the town and prayed for Jesus. They wanted him to spread christian and not get hurt as well. Mary, Saint Anne’s daughter, had the hardest time with Jesus leafing , yet Saint Anne had the power to tell her everything happens for a reason. Saint Anne’s leadership allowed others to have faith in what Jesus set out to do. Rosa Parks and Saint Anne’s leadership showed people how to have the strength and power to get over hard times in life.
