In this ad for Nike, winner stays on, it is evident that some of the social groups are represented in different ways. The advertisement was created in 2014 to publicize their company. They have multiple famous soccer players in the video, using all their Nike gear to appear as if they are the best soccer brand at the moment. The theme of the winner stays on ad is to advocate their company and to show off their new soccer cleats. In the beginning of the video, there is an impression that the kids playing are poor and not very good at soccer, but later in the video they get to chose who they want to play like, their setting changes, and they are wearing better clothes and jerseys. In the minds of a younger audience they will expect to be able to play like their favorite stars if they have their cleats. This is why so many famous Nike sponsored players were here, this includes but not limited to Ronaldo, Neymar, David Luiz, Iniesta, Hazard, Ibrahimovic, Pique, and there are even people who are not soccer players they make an appearance into the advertisement like NBA legend Kobe Bryant, or the famous boxers Jon Jones and Anthony Silva. This is called ethos, when an famous or trust worthy person is convincing the consumer to buy a product based on what they claim. This is the purpose of the video, to target younger kids and put in the ideology that Nike gear makes you play better and it can turn your dreams into a reality. All the people in the ad were teenagers who were all male and were not particularly wealthy. This is an example of the target audience being young teen males. There are no females in the ad other than when the setting is changed from the unkempt field to the nice professional pitch, this is when one of the main characters says, “I have got fifteen thousand fans screamin my name!” in response Ronaldo point to the crowd and says, “But not her!” and the camera is transitioned to a girl in the crowd who is watching the game. After he talks about how he has the ‘best new cleats that aren’t even out yet’ but this matched with Ronaldo’s new cleats
