Recommended: Is homework good or bad for student achievement

Did you know that Finland students are the number one students in the world and they don't have homework? The elementary school here has homework and Finland still is the number one school. No elementary school student should have homework because you just learned it in school. It ha not shown to be a benefit, but rather a time consumer.

Studies have shown that homework has no benefit. Scientists have proved that these evening assignments has no benefit. Finland, which have the number one students have no homework and more time to socialize with friends. Homework is mostly to general and it is not targeting real needs. Homework for most people is not beneficial.

For most people in this elementary school homework can be a big stressor. This pointless paperwork could drive you crazy because when you are about to go to school and you remember that you forgot your evening assignments and if you forget it the teachers will go ballistic. It could also be a stressor by forgetting your useless dreaded paperwork at school at the end of the school day you might be in a big rush to try to find the paperwork and you will forget it and maybe have consequences for forgetting your evening assignments. In Finland where they have none of the useless boring work they have more time to socialize with friends. If you have hobbies you will have more time to work on them other than wasting five minutes of your day doing useless paperwork that does not even target needs. While you are trying to figure out boring questions and all the sudden you have to go out for dinner when you have not finished the homework and if you do not complete it then there will be consequences in the classroom.
