What characteristics do you think a president should have? There are a few characteristics that I think a president should have, and I hope they will have them. These characteristics include Honesty, Responsibility, and Respect. I also believe that the person should be well educated and they must be born in the United States of America. The [US] should have someone who loves our country and tries their best to help us with what we need done. Our country should mean everything to them. Honesty is the quality of being honest . I think that a president should be honest because he or she has trillions of people counting on them to treat our country with honesty and respect. The president should do what her or she is asked to do, therefore they would have a big responsibility. In the constitution it sates, "The president is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by the congress." They must function its proper role as a policy making body. Presidents have many more responsibilities and roles that they are counted on doing. This really means a lot to the citizens and to our nation. Respect is feeling deep admiration for someone elected by their abilities or qualities. We do not want a president that will treat people different by the actions, so I think that everyone should be treated the same. The people who have disabilities should not be treated any different than a wealthy person because they cannot do what others can. I believe that every person has the right to do what they want and how they want. These are the things that should be respected by the president. In this essay there are three characteristics that a president should have. As long as a president does what they are supposed to do they will help our country.
