Presidential Qualities There are many different qualities people believe a president should contain. For centuries the United States has gone through their fair share of good presidents, and bad ones. Presidential qualities make up whether a president was considered a good leader, or a not so good leader. The three presidential qualities I believe every president should contain are, a strong vision, strong leadership, and has to be a public servant. Many presidents in the past did not have a strong vision and this is why I believe they failed at their presidency. With doing this he passed a law that nobody had ever thought of passing. Jimmy Carter was also a great example of a president that had a strong vision and ran with it. he, “delivered an A-to-Z, from abortion to Zaire.” This explains Carter’s strong vision is he knew he had a long list of things to do, so he started from the top and continued to work his way down. Education was a very big problem during the time Carter was in office, there were many problems with it. While Carter was in office, he felt great about fixing the education problem, so he created the Department of Education. He made the decision to carve out Education from the already overburdened Department. of Health, Education and Welfare and he felt great about this which showed his strong vision for our country.
