Every Basketball player dreams of playing college Basketball. Your dream is to play in front of huge crowds, and fans screaming your name from the stands as you make a fascinating play in a game. But getting to this level takes more than just dreaming. You have to be dedicated, hard-working, and willing to make sacrifices to get to this level. While everyone is out there having a good time partying, you have to be disciplined enough to not fall for that trap and go in the gym and work on your craft. You will have to dedicate your summers to AAU (Amateur Athletic Union), which is a summer league basketball program that helps Amateur athletes gain exposure. Also, most importantly, you will have to stay on top of your academics sure you probably can shoot a Basketball, but how is your work ethic in the classroom? I’m putting the blueprint out for you on how to get a scholarship so that you can play college basketball First and foremost you must be a good basketball player. You should be one of the two best players on your High School Varsity Basketball team. And getting to that level is going to take a lot of work. You have to be committed. If you want to receive a scholarship for an NCAA school, you must have a 2.0 GPA or higher GPA. The higher your GPA, the better it is for you. College coaches absolutely love when athletes are just as successful on the court as they are in the classroom. What you score on your SAT or ACT are also important. College coaches are looking for talented athletes with good academics. There looking for, mature athletes that take care of their business on and off the court.
