My dad always tells us that a successful person has to have strong academic, communication and social skills. I thought that with my good performance in school and in public speaking competitions at our Sunday school, I had everything covered. In the high school, I realized what my dad meant. I interviewed for the Federal Reserve Challenge team and got onto the highly selective team. In the Fed Challenge competition, all teams have to go to Federal Reserve Bank of New York and present monetary policy based on current economic conditions.
