According to the Foundation of Nursing Leadership assessment, the leadership style I scored the highest was Transformational with a score of 68/80. The four elements I was scored on were: inspirational motivation (19), intellectual consideration (18), and individual consideration (17) and Idealized influence (16). My second leadership style was Transactional with a score of 54/80, followed by Laissez Faire with a score of 32/80.
2. From what I understand a leader with a transformational style is a visionary who motivates, leads by example, inspires their team, is goal oriented, not afraid of change, encourages growth and build a trust based relationship with their people (Transformation leadership, n.d.).

Servant leadership is having a heart for others, to want to help in any way they can. To put other people’s needs above yours to help them develop and perform to the best of their ability. Jesus is an example of a servant leader. It states in Matthew 20:28, “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many”. He put our needs above his own!
4. Servant leadership relates to the transformational style in which they both are about setting a good example for others to follow and putting other’s needs above ours. They put other’s needs above ours by trusting them and excepting them to do their jobs. To not tell them that your ideals are the best but let others to have ownership into the process. Servant lea
