The meaning of leadership has many different meanings but there is one that really sticks out to me which is, being a leader of a group, and having that feeling of importance. In leadership of philosophy we learned that there not really a real difentation. According to John C Maxwell, “ A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. My view of leadership is teamwork, teambuilding, a group leader, and group work. Leadership is a very important in order to be successful.

I have had the proper classes and training to know what things I need to work on for the next four years. The work experience will change in the next four years from what I currently do now. What do I think of star performers? I think that star performers are over achievers, and think they know everything about everyone. I do not plan to be a star performer, I plan to be a great boss and great colleague.

The strengths I currently have are communication skills, working with little children, self-driven, and be able to understand little children. These strengths are all related to my field of work. Each one of them I always plan to work on them throughout my life. My strengths vary, all depending on what content area I am currently focussing on. When I was little communication skills used to be my weakness for a long time until I found the courage to overcome that challenge.

I am a leadership major and I have been through a number of leadership classes and online training. The skills I can improve on is having the courage to take charge in a group of complete strangers in a very familiar setting.
