The Republic to Rome Empire
There were many historical periods in Rome. The Rome Republic to Rome Empire. The Rome could become powerful and wealthy city because they tried hard. There are some facts information that how Rome started and become most powerful city. At the same time, how Rome Republic changed into Rome Empire that dominated many lands around the Mediterranean Sea.
First, one of the origin story is the Rome was founded by the twins Romulus and Remus, but the Romulus killed Remus and became the first king of Rome. The Rome was ruled by the kings before the Roman republic was started. The king was powerful and ruled both government and Roman religion. This is known as the First Triumvirate. Although, when the Crassus died during the battle, Prompey the Great turned against Caesar. Julius killed the Prompey and became the most powerful man in the Rome. However, the Roman was worried about that Caesar would become a dictator and rule the Rome. Because of this, the Caesar was assassinated from his enemies. When Octavian heard about that Caesar died he tried to gather the power. There were also 3 men who shared the power together in Rome which are Lepidus, Octavian and Marc Antony. This is known as the second Triumvirate. However, the 3 men become enemies and tried to defeat each other to gain more power. At the end, the Octavian defeat Anthony then become most powerful man in the Rome. He became the first Rome emperor and he was known as Augustus. When he became a Rome emperor, the Rome civilization was getting bigger and wealthy. He built many buildings such as road and government buildings. At the same time, he conquered many lands around the Mediterranean Sea.
