As a whole there can be multiple effects as a consequence of discrimination and multiple participants that will be affected by discrimination. Emotional and physical effects – The physical effects of discrimination occur when the discrimination starts to become violent and physically aggressive. The physical aspect of effects can occur after and alongside emotional effects. The emotional effects of discrimination will affect all parties of a work place including both staff and people we support. The indicators of these affects may include things such as anxiety, withdrawal, guilt, depression and loss of appetite as well as many others. Financial and educational effects – This particular effect mainly regards to the staff team in the workplace.
