In this instance there wouldn’t be any close ties with other people who live in the area. Being isolated in this instance with no social support from others who live close by may have had an impact on her. An example visiting an aged care home, help serve food to homeless people or a Youth centre. This is a good opportunity to meet other youths and gain new friends. Another factor was absent was having an ongoing close circle of friends or being involved in a long-term relationship with a girl. These were lacking in his life which meant he was isolated in a number of ways. This isolation would not have helped him in any way or bring self-worthiness. This idea would have had potential with a networking opportunity and being able to scope out with new possible employment or to further his education. This would have assisted him in gaining employment in a particular area or further his apprenticeship if he needed so. These factors could have provided him with a form of social inclusiveness. This would have been seen as positive and a fruitful one. Having this involvement or interaction with these people on a social level may have provided Jimmy with a constructive outlook and a healthy one. Why so for this idea? This is an opportunity for him to talk things over with his friends that he might have had concerns with. For example I seem to be drinking or taking drugs quite a bit and I believe I may have a problem. He may ask his friends for a possible solution or help with the matter. Going to an establishment that would assist him with his Drinking one place would be Alcohol Anonymous and drug related intake workshop. Why would have this been helpful? A social interaction with others within the group and help from health professionals can assist with overcoming his problems or work out what can he do to help
