The Civil war was the time in the American history when American were trying to get the answer of like who Americans are, what right should they possess, whether a person can own the other person or not which took placed during 1861 to 1865 between southern and northern states over the issues of slavery. Civil War era is usually portrayed as the ear of war over the conflict of slavery fought between North against South as a struggle over free labor against slave labor and local sovereignty against Federal power. If we look over the historical interpretation of the civil war, Civil War is the one war that has provided the most important to the citizen of any country and that is their right to freedom. The victory of Union in the Civil war in 1865 lighted the candle of hope of freedom for 4 million slaves but the process of rebuilding or reconstruction introduced number of significant challenges in both south and north. African Americans in nineteenth-century America understood that their freedom was directly linked to the outcome of the war between the north and south (Pearlie 2). Thousands of men including men, women, children worked in the Union Army helping them in the dream of a free nation where they were also called as a citizen. The United States constitution states that every man has equal rights to freedom and liberty and Frederick Douglas took this statement seriously and sought to bring it to existence so he called out every black man in the war of freedom who were not sure yet compelled to join in (Pearlie 2). During the time when the United States declared war on Germany on April 6, 1917 the half of the American population were either first or second generation. In the simple words, Nativism and Xenophobia simply means a feeling of giving per fences to Native born people and fear for the people of different country and cultural which had deeply impact on the American society during the time of World War. Many events started took place after the involvement of America in the World War against the immigrants and spreading the dangers posed by pacifists and German Americans. But German American were the one racial groups that was more affected than the another because of the war between Germany and United States where they were questioned every time for their patriotism towards the United States. German culture and people came under attacks on all fronts, with hamburgers, sauerkraut, Beethoven and German Language instruction disappearing. The first Red Scare in the American history was caused by the xenophobia and nativism as it was sparked by the fear and suspicion against immigrants and a series of terrorist attacks in the homeland. Red scare was an anti-radical hysteria and fear that took place right after Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 and the events of World War I. Number of bombs were found in the mail boxes
