Cyber means technology, virtual, and online. Bully is the use of superior strength to intimidate someone, to force him/her to what one wants. When the two words are put together, it makes CYBERBULLY. Cyberbully means, “the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.” Cyberbully is no joke, the victim can be physically injured. Technology has become part of our everyday lives that we are not able to not use it. Individuals (the bully in cyber-bullying) should be prosecuted for statements made on social media. As our society advanced in technology, the types of bullying advanced as well. The creation of the internet and social media sites now allows bullies to now hide behind their computer screens to torment their victims.
