The Nursing field gives a person many opportunities to work with and care for sick patients. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that nursing was for me. My passion for helping people and doing everything I possibly could to learn more to help people has been my desire. I never really saw myself picking another career for myself because nursing is something that runs in my family. When watching members of my family become nurses and work so hard to become nurses I knew that I needed to look at programs and colleges near me that were good for nursing. I decided that when I finish my college class at Southern Regional Technical College while still attending high school, I would then attend Bainbridge Technical college. I feel as though the nursing definition describes exactly what I wish to accomplish for my Nursing career. After researching and figuring out what nursing is really all about, I researched more advanced parts of the nursing career because that is where I hope to be after I graduate with my bachelor's in nursing. I then wish to move on to my doctorate's degree in nursing practice. A doctorate's degree is the highest level of academic degree. Going to nursing school to become a registered nurse has many different options. There are so many parts of nursing that you could choose from you probably wouldn't believe it, there are at least 25 different types of career jobs for someone who would like to go to school to become a nurse. The first degree that someone could receive when going into the nursing field is an Associate's degree. Associate's degree takes at least two or three years to complete.
