I am in pursuit of such an education which can lead my knowledge and creativity to think beyond the existing boundaries . And this can be achieved by creating a concrete foundation in the field of dentistry where my purpose and passion forms a cement. By exploring in-depth knowledge of dentistry I could be able to satisfy the demanding needs for proper oral health care for the increasing population. Getting an undergraduate education in dentistry helps me to learn the fundamental principles of dental science so that I am able to utilize these principles practically into real life situations and obtain optimal solutions. . I always used to accompany her to the dental clinics.She suffered alot because of lack of proper dental care. During my undergraduate studies I did research work on "Prevalence of Candida colony forming units in type II Diabetic patients" which was selected by Indian council of Medical Research and at the same time I also participated in many extra curriculum activities along with balancing to maintain excellent grades.
To explore the ins and outs of dentistry and to deepen my horizon of understanding Dentistry, I did one year rotatory internship program at Dr.D.Y.Patil Dental College and Hospital, India.The internship has given me a sturdy groundwork in practical experience and communicating skills. I have volunteered at "Alandi Primary Health Care Center" in a rural area in India and also the" Indiana Mission of Mercy" in Indiana .I had the experience of volunteering at two different places in different situations but the nature of the dental work was the same. Conducting a Children's day retreat for Remand home care made me realise that dental education is very important. I have spent more than 100 hours shadowing Dentists. One of them was Dr.Wayne.T.Kinney.His unconditional care for his patients and his down to earth nature inspired me. Dr.Kinney brought to light many amazing dental procedures, including implants, oral surgeries and grafting
