These three gentleman all met in University High School And decided to make a pact to get thru high school. So, With Me knowing how hard it was for Them growing up based on the novel is something that I would love to read to about and Should be an inspiration for people going through times like them. After reading the first few chapters of the novel I wanted to learn how these three young men could stick together and keep there promise threw out all The hard times. The first person to tell the story would George Jenkins. His parents got divorced when he was young and he’s lived in the ghetto for most of his life. George was always flattered With dental work and tools and it all started when he was only 11 when he went to go get braces. Sam grew up in the neighborhood as the two other boys and experienced such poverty and witnessed ton of crimes. Sam talks about his role model that he had met and looked up to. He was a martial-arts teacher named Reggie. Reggie was also a security guard also he was the type of person who made an honest living and was respected by some of the toughest guys in the community. Reggie was a highly trained black belt who help sam, but Sam started to slip after he turn 15 and stray with guys 4 - 7 years older than him. He would hang out late they also drink 40 ounces malt liquor as they hung out. Sam stopped lessons with Reggie and headed towards trouble with the boys. Last but not least would Be Rameck Hunt. Rameck , has issues with his mother. Rameck struggled to forgive his mother for the reason she had ended up a heroin addict. His father was a heroin addict also but he forgave his father, or didn't blame his father as he did his mom. His father spent most of his childhood in and out of jail for doing petty crimes.
