... baking. For chewy cookies (which are my favorite), melt the butter before mixing with the sugars, then take the cookies out of the oven early so that their centers are soft and chewy; but make sure they are still cooked thoroughly. To get a crunchy, crisp cookie, use a portion of white sugar and all butter. In place of a whole egg, only use the eggs yolk. Changing just a few ingredients can make the basic chocolate chip cookie recipe turn into your favorite recipe.
Transforming cookies from sticky dough to a scrumptious snack that everyone will enjoy can be done by even a novice. However, fine tuning the recipe for your own taste buds, may take practice. The good thing about the cookie-baking process is that it is easy and anyone can learn how to make this delicious treat. Anyone can engineer a perfect batch of chocolate chip cookies if you follow these directions.
