Throughout this course I have learned many ways to write from different perspectives and it has helped me become a better writer. When I started this course my writing skills were at a bare minimum, since the only time that I wrote was evaluations for my job. This being said I have learned how to correct my mistakes along the way and Mr. Dery has aided me in recognizing my flaws. In the first essay about “Navy Evaluations” (written assignment 1), we had to describe a time in our academic life where we had used a reviewing process, but there was some minor tweaking that the essay needed done.. My first step to approaching these barriers were to proofread the article and look for more research or observe what I could talk more about that would catch the reader 's attention to want to visit here. So in the third paragraph I spiced it up a little by talking more about the food and how it is made to an extent to make the reader almost taste the cubano sandwich as they read it; but not only that giving the reader a sense of what type of atmosphere you will dine in. As I read on, in the fourth paragraph I noticed the same issue it needed a little characterization, so I tried to make it seem that False Cape Park was a secret and that not many locals know about it, to try and use marketing techniques to get the visitor to want to come to this park. Then after reading over the conclusion a couple of times I decided to just start from scratch and rewrite the whole paragraph. Looking back through the textbook, I refreshed my memory about how a conclusion is to be written and tried my best to echo the introduction while summarizing the plan of action to the
