I think we can all agree that technology has a firm grip on our lives which will never cease to exist now that it has become. We as humans have integrated technology into our lives to the point of where it is practically required in order to function within today’s society. Yet, we continue to let technology further into our lives to the point of where we depend on technology in order to communicate and to seek advice, rather than from our elders. The dependence technology has created is not only hurting our connections to each other, but it is also changing the way we feel and how we go about our everyday lives. Technology has it’s place but it is being used in ways that affect people’s lives and our current society in damaging ways. Things need to change or our world will be filled with people who can’t even hold a face-to-face conversation. Is that the world we are striving to become?
