Radio has become a medium of entertainment, education and information giving listeners a form of imagination, relaxation and escape from our daily lives. The 1927 radio options for the American listener showcased the talents of stars such as Ed Wynn, Jack Benny, Bob Hope, George Burns, Gracie Allen, Rudy Vallee, Edgar Bergen, and Kate Smith. Stars like these gave the average listener entertainment with news, comedy, drama, music and more. Performer where exposure to more fame.
Have you ever asked yourself, what the world would be like if there weren’t any mobile applications. Society is impacted by the new development in technology daily. Someone is always claiming that their inventions will revolutionize the world, but no invention has had more success over the years, in the cellular world than mobile applications. People all around the world use millions to billions of applications daily for personal and business uses. For example, social networking which is use by all generations of people.
This brought upon a major change in communication and gave leeway to the improvement of the telephone in the days to come (Bellis, 2013b). During the 20th century there were many innovations regarding the telephone. In 1973, the first call from a portable phone was made Martin Cooper, who was a Motorola researcher and executive at the time. Since its inception, the advancement of cell phones has been exponential (Bellis, 2013a). As a result, cell phones have changed how society works in today's world.
Likewise, through the utilization of the radio, people were able to experience a new medium to entertain themselves. Furthermore, the radio changed the face of society’s culture through its widespread use. In addition, radios provided people with a new, effective and efficient means of communication. Radio was a fundamental aspect in people’s lives during the 1920’s as it provided many people with news and entertainment in their day-to-day lives. The radio accommodated people’s desire to have fun by introducing them to a new entertainment experience.

For the longest time people were only limited to e-mails to make communication to one another and there were no large scale social media sites available. However, the internet started taking off in the early 2000s as new generations started bringing to the table new and more advanced ideas. Facebook was invented in 2004, where people were able to connect with whoever they wanted throughout the world to communicate and be able to share anything. On their
