Online Shopping has Greatly Imrpoved Life for Consumers

Online shopping, also known as web store, is defined as a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly purchase goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser. It is not web storage, a built-up system in the Internet whereby one stores and shares data. Online shopping is similar to social shopping; a method of e-commerce where shoppers meet online to shop together. It is not similar to communal shopping; a method of shopping where the shopper enlists others to participate in purchase decision by giving reviews on a product to help customers decide. Online shopping has now become popular due to its convenience and its efficiency has improved its consumers’ lives, over time; consequently, it may replace the conventional shopping activity.

In a nutshell, online shopping consists of online customer, marketing administrator (manage products), payment processing system, warehouse clerk (fulfill order), and warehouse manager (manage inventory). Web storesprovide service such asmember accounts, checkout &payment, customer-friendly shopping (product ratings and reviews), and shopping security. There are also exclusive features including product features, ratings and reviews which are helpful to assure consumers of the quality of products and persuade them to purchase. Amazon, Ebay, and Alibaba are examples of the largest online retailing corporations, followed by another web stores like Wal-Mart, Best Purchase, IKEA, or small online stores in FaceBook, Instagram, Blogs, etc.

Primarily, the importance of online shopping for consumerlies in their convenience services. Online shopping can be done at home and consumers do not have to worry about the inconvenience caused by the traffic-jam. They can ...
