Reading and writing ability development starts before a child can read and write; it begins with a child's exposure to books, paper and writing materials in the first three years of life. Reading and writing ability development includes much more than just reading, including spoken language and writing, all of which is developed through a variety of early skills. Parents and people (who take care of people) can use a mixed group of learning activities to (help increase/show in a good way) reading and writing ability development in their infants and little kids. This skill is needed for building words vocally as well as sounding out words that you read. Rhymes are effective for teaching (sounds within words) because they depend on almost the same sounds at the end of different words. Singing songs also aids phonological (knowing about something) because melodies often break up each (a sound in a word) to a particular note. Thinking-related - Just as a child develops gross and fine motor skills, social and emotional skills, thinking-related skills are practiced and (helped increase/showed in a good way) starting at (very beginning stages). Through play, children are gaining confidence, learning decision making skills and getting/gaining very important thinking skills that will prepare them for adulthood. Learning Thinking-related Skills Children are naturally curious and constantly learning about the world around them. New noises, sounds and objects for them to discover.
