As an undergraduate I have engaged with several fields that I believe would make me a perfect fit for the Post-Graduate Fellow program, particularly the Student Life & College Counselor position. I have been heavily involved in Bryn Mawr College’s Admissions Office as a tour guide since my sophomore year. Through this experience I have spent time talking with high school students about the college process and finding the perfect college fit as well as interviewing them for admission. Working in this office I have honed my communication skills and gained experience within a professional environment performing administrative tasks and working alongside permanent staff members. Additionally, I was chosen as the Special Programs and Events Admissions Intern for the current year through which I have gained an increased understanding of the college admissions process. I am also interested in this position because it combines aspects of college counseling and residential life. I have been an active member of residential life throughout my undergraduate years. As a sophomore, I was chosen as a customs person and was responsible for mentoring eight first year students as they adjusted to college life. I am intrigued with the working farm aspect of the school as I’ve spent many summers on a farm and it remains an environment to which I am attracted. I have been drawn to traveling abroad since my time in Vienna over the past summer and would value the experience of exploring another culture. In addition to the roles of this fellowship, I would welcome additional opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities such as with the volleyball team. I have previous coaching experience in volleyball and would enjoy helping out if opportunities
