An event that happened in my life is that I got married and then six months after our marriage we found out that she was pregnant. I was shocked that she was pregnant due to a medical condition of hers and due to my heart condition. I have a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It was a long journey and a lot of going to the doctor. My wife continued to do online classes while being pregnant and sick. She was even hospitalized for having anemia and high blood pressure. She prayed a lot and kept believing in God and that she could continue with her online classes and deal with being pregnant at the same time. This changed my mind about pursuing a degree online as well in Biblical Studies. Seeing my wife pass her classes and push herself to complete her lesson plans and take care of our daughter …show more content…

My goals here at Colorado Christian University are important to me because I what to accomplish my degree here. I love the fact that you are a Christian school and my number one goal is to get my degree in Biblical Studies to further the gift that I have and to draw closer to God. I would like to get more knowledge of what God wants me to do with my gift and to further my education to become a pastor when I am done. There are other goals that I have such as being able to purchase my family a nice home and by also ministering to lost souls out there as well. I want to start a homeless ministry with my wife so we can do Gods will and help people draw closer to God. By going to a college like you all I can pursue my dream and get the proper biblical studies that I need. I will remain focus here at your school and by leaning on God and by studying and getting my assignments in early or on time. I am willing to do the work and get my degree in what God wants me to
