NEW YEAR GOALS

I am ready to test my commitment to the new year. I look at the beginning of the year as a restart on a clean slate. I have many plans for myself and I am commited to making it better than all my previous years. To come up with my goals this new years I’m looking at all my mistakes from last year and generalizing it into three ways to prevent those mistakes from happening again. My goals for this year are to say less do more, get better grades, and have a closer relationship with Jesus.

My parents always said it’s because I’m lazy and I procrasinate on my assignments. I’m starting to think I’m just slower than most kids. Regardless of the reason why I’ve been struggling I still plan on getting As and Bs for the rest of the time I’m in school. I plan to not let how I feel about school alter my grades and my success in general.

When I first realized that I believed in Jesus I accepted his gift and a while later I was baptized. The first few years afterward I was really into the Bible and prayer. When I got older I started to drift away from the practices of my religion. I started to get more into worldly things over spiritual things. So this year I want to grow closer than I was before to him and I want to introduce him to more people who don’t believe.

Those are my new years goals. I know I won’t be able to complete them over night. They still might be my resolutions for next year. So it’ll take time but I am going to pesevere and keep trying to complete my goals. NEW YEAR
