I think there are many possible reasons why Felix ended up in an orphanage because his parents went missing, his parents did not want him anymore, his parents were not good to him anymore. I wonder what Felix’s parents felt when they sent him to the orphanage? The first possible reason why Felix ended up in a orphanage is because his parents went missing. When Felix's parents went missing the world was very dangerous then, so his neighbors and other relatives did not know what to do with him. The reason why people went missing is because half of the Polish Jews were murdered the total that were murdered were 3,000,000 Jews.
