To feel something is completely different than knowing you know that as well as I do. Right? What you don't know is I was born to help others.The endless hours, the dark nights, and some obnoxiously early mornings all spent in the hospital is what I love. It will become my new home full of eventful days consisting of helping those in need. To work in the medical field has always been a dream of mine since I was a young girl but it was not until recently that I decided between pediatrics, OBGYN, and becoming an ultrasound technician because I have always loved children and each of these occupations involve children. Learning how to make an occupied bed was something I struggled with, but with a bunch of practice I do not struggle much anymore. Many people believe that washing your hands is as easy as putting soap on your hands and getting them wet, but it is much more intricate than that; i.e you have to get your fingertips, wrists, backs of hands, and under your nails. Knocking, washing your hands, screening the patients, stating your name, and explaining are all the basics of any procedure. Nursing Two is focused more on vital signs and the different types of systems we have in our bodies. I learned how to take a patient's radial pulse, brachial pulse, and blood pressure. I believe the brachial pulse is the hardest to find out of all the pulses I have learned even when trying to locate the beat in the left arm (the pulse is more prominent in the left arm than the right.) No matter how hard I tried I can’t find the pulse which is why I find it the hardest to learn. The blood pressure cuff is uncomplicated to use, but I found the pump impenetrable to use especially with my left hand because I was holding the diaphragm on the brachial and I needed to use my right hand to rotate the
