The start of the age of concern and political dictatorships grew as many people searched for stability and an answer to the economic hardships of the Great Depression. The ending result was a combination of the rebirth of authoritarian rule joined by cruel and forceful tyranny which reached its highest peak in Germany and the Soviet Union. Hitler was the leader of the Nazis of Germany, Joseph Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union, and Mussolini was the leader of Italy. Hitler’s hostility towards Poland caused World War II. The fears of the 1920s- 1930 was a disturbing part in history. The beginning of totalitarian states grew with the Great Depression, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Benito Mussolini.

Adolf Hitler believe that the government should take control of the country. Hitler regulated the media and the people of Germany. The people of Germany did not have a freedom of speech or a right to do anything. Hitler had secret police officers to spy on the people of Germany and if the people disagree with the government they would be in prison, killed, place them on reservation camps or even brutally beating. . Some people applauded his action and some people were too afraid to speak out. Hitler practice propaganda. Hitler knew that the public were going to read newspapers and listen to the radio, so he organize prearranged radio broadcasts, films, stories and rallies in his favor so he could make the government look really good. He made the people think that he was really doing great things in Germany. Hitler brought terror to the people of Germany. Hitler started the Holocaust in Germany that killed many Jews and put them onto reservation camps. Adolf Hitler influenced many other leaders with his very many abilities. He did similar things such as Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin. While all totalitarian states were pretty much run the same way, if not it would not have been a totalitarian state. All totalitarian states use propaganda. Benito Mussolini was the founder of fascism and was a socialist before then. Benito Mussolini did not have much confrontation with Stalin but he did have problems with Adolf Hitler. “Mussolini slowly overcame his anti-German attitudes, and then allied himself with Adolf Hitler in May 1939. Mussolini expected corresponding policies to hinder German creativities until Italy’s forces recovered from their recent actions. Mussolini planned the next war in 1943-1945.
